Same Hurt
Different Story

“Same Hurt Different Story” is a grief event that operates as part of The ALIC Foundation. It is designed to provide solace, understanding, and healing for those who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a child. This event serves as a safe haven for parents who are grieving, offering them a sanctuary of shared experiences and resilience. We honor the parents to let them know they are not forgotten.

Mothers Mending the Hearts of Mothers

Mothers Mending the Hearts of Mothers is a program geared towards the empowerment and healing of women. The program’s main focus is on helping the grieving mother heal and regain her life by adapting to the “new normal.” We offer a yearly event called “Same Hurt, Different Story” for all parents who have suffered loss of a child or children.

Safety Solutions

We promote safety in multiple areas ranging from Fire Safety to Personal Safety.  “Spark The No No Flame” is a fire safety program that is offered to children of all ages. We also offer a safety training for the parents to be informed on what to be aware of in the home that can cause a fire.

B.O.L.D.

Business Operation Learned and Developed is a program for youth and adults who have had a rougher start than others. B. O. L. D. will equip them with skills that will assist them in starting their own businesses. Business guidance and mentoring are also included to ensure more success for the new businesses. This program also provides tools and resources to get the business established and operating successfully. Our program also assist in creating business plans, locating start-up funds, and marketing strategy.

ALIC’s Angels

A’Lic’s Angels is an outreach program that specializes in multiple areas, including but not limited to:


Heart 2 Help – Our Community Outreach program is all about reaching out to our community and sharing the spirit of goodwill. We understand that sometimes, a little act of kindness can make a big difference. We are committed to making our community a better place, one give-back at a time. 
C.U.F.N. Christmas– Community give back where we serve over 350 children with gifts for the Christmas holidays. Feeding the community, raffles, and playing games with those who attend. We also have volunteers deliver food to the elderly in Wharton, TX for the holidays.

C.U.F.N. Easter

Open to the public for all age children. Held at the desired park in Wharton, TX., we provide music, free food, prizes, and custom easter baskets donated by our community partners. This event is on the Saturday before Easter.
Free Baskets for the hunt are also available to the youth.
